FAQs
Do we need to book?
No booking is required. Weekends are the busiest times though and midweek is usually quieter.
Is there an entry fee?
Currently we don’t charge an entry fee but all fruit must be paid for before eating.
How much does it cost?
All fruit is paid for by weight. Please call our answerphone 01455 220572 or see home page of website for prices on fruit ready for picking.
Can we bring children?
Yes everyone is welcome but children must be supervised at all times on site.
Do you have parking and toilet facilities?
Yes we have ample grass parking and a mobile toilet on site.
Can we buy ready picked fruit?
We always try to have a selection of picked fruit available to buy.
We also take orders for ready picked fruit especially for larger quantities.
Are you open if it’s raining?
We have strawberries & raspberries under cover for all weather picking at table height so you can pick in any weather.
Is it possible to get around with wheelchairs/prams/pushchairs?
There is no problem in the tunnel areas and although there is uneven ground most other areas are accessible and most people manage to get round without any problems.
Can we bring our dogs?
Only guide dogs & assistance dogs are allowed around the fruit areas. Otherwise please leave your dogs at home, we don’t like to see pets left in cars on hot days.
